CarromPro ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our carrom sport management platform, including our website at carrompro.in, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and all related services.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information You Provide
- Identity Data: Full name, username, profile picture or avatar.
- Contact Data: Email address, phone number (optional).
- Profile Data: Player skill level, playing style preferences, club affiliations, region.
- Match Data: Scores, statistics, match history, tournament participation.
- Club Data: Club name, membership details, attendance records.
- Communication Data: Forum posts, chat messages, match requests, feedback.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device type, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, device identifiers.
- Pages visited, features used, time spent, interaction patterns, error logs.
- Approximate geo-location (optional, for nearby clubs/tournaments).
- IP address, access timestamps, crash reports.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and maintain the platform, manage your account, track match scores, generate tournament fixtures, send notifications, improve features, ensure safety, and comply with legal requirements. We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Payment Information
CarromPro does NOT store your credit card numbers, debit card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details. All payments are processed by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant), Apple App Store, and Google Play Store. We only store transaction metadata for account management.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with third-party service providers (Firebase, Algolia, Brevo, Razorpay) for operational purposes, and when required by law.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use authentication cookies, preference storage (local storage), and performance caching (Service Workers). Where ads are shown, limited identifiers may be used for frequency capping and measurement.
7. Advertising & Sponsored Content
Free tier users may see advertisements. We may use device identifiers for ad frequency limiting and measurement. We do not sell personal data. Ad partners receive only limited, non-identifying data.
8. Analytics & Measurement
We use analytics tools like Firebase Analytics for product improvements, troubleshooting, and reliability monitoring. You can opt out via device-level privacy controls.
9. User Generated Content Policy
We maintain a Zero Tolerance Policy for hate speech, violence, harassment, spam, and illegal content. Users can report objectionable content. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
10. Device Permissions
Camera and Photo Library (profile pictures, match photos), Location (optional — nearby clubs/tournaments), Notifications (optional — match invites, updates), and Internet Access (required) are the permissions our app may request.
11. Data Security
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Data at rest is encrypted on Google Cloud servers. Firebase Authentication with secure token-based sessions. Hosted on Google Cloud Platform with SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, and ISO 27001 certifications.
12. Data Retention & Deletion
Active account data is retained for the duration of your account. Inactive accounts (24+ months) may be flagged for deletion. Transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax compliance. You can delete your account at any time through Settings or by emailing privacy@carrompro.in.
13. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where Google Cloud has data centers. We ensure transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
14. Children's Privacy
CarromPro is not directed to children under 13. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental consent.
15. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. You can withdraw consent for optional processing at any time. Contact privacy@carrompro.in to exercise these rights.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification and/or email.
